I quite like the IMOCA 60’s after watching “The Mariner” on YouTube. This is John Stanmore Major’s channel documenting his IMOCA 60 campaign to solo sail around the world the wrong way hoping to set a new record time.

I am a retired software engineer currently circumnavigating the world by sailing yacht via the Clipper Round The World Race. This race started in September 2019 from London, UK and sailed to stopovers in Portimao Portugal, Punta Del Este Uruguay, Cape Town South Africa, Fremantle Australia, Airlie Beach Australia and finalllySubic Bay Philippines where the race was halted due to emerging COVID-19 Pandemic. In March 2022 after two difficult years of coping Pandemic conditions around the world I have finally rejoined this race in the Philippines as it resumes and we aim to sail the 11 Clipper Round The World yachts back to London.
