In far south Texas at my parents house – My Mom and Dad along with Sheila, Jonathan and me.
My mom proudly declared that she will be living to age 100 and I have no reason to doubt her.
My dad looking pretty good also!
In New Mexico with Sheila’s Mom.
It is now 7/19/2019 and we are back home in Santa Monica. I leave for UK and the start of my Clipper Round The World adventure on 8/8/2019 so I really need to get focused on all remaining around the house tasks to be done as well as sorting out the fine details of my sailing kit and all the things I need to bring for Clipper.
I am a retired software engineer currently circumnavigating the world by sailing yacht via the Clipper Round The World Race. This race started in September 2019 from London, UK and sailed to stopovers in Portimao Portugal, Punta Del Este Uruguay, Cape Town South Africa, Fremantle Australia, Airlie Beach Australia and finalllySubic Bay Philippines where the race was halted due to emerging COVID-19 Pandemic. In March 2022 after two difficult years of coping Pandemic conditions around the world I have finally rejoined this race in the Philippines as it resumes and we aim to sail the 11 Clipper Round The World yachts back to London. Please join me in my journey via these blog posts and consider becoming a crew supporter via the pagers at https://www.clipperroundtheworld.com/race/crew-supporters.
