7/19/2019: Just completed second coat of epoxy on the insides. Ready for the third coat now a day later.
I still need to flip the boat over and prep/sand the hull sides followed by fiberglassing the bottom. That is going to be a significantly more difficult – a job that I will need help with.
Once I get both sides epoxied it should be sufficient completion on this project that I would be able to store the boat away during my Clipper Round The World adventure – as long as I can keep it out of the sun as plain epoxy is not UV resistant.

This race started in September 2019 from London, UK and sailed to stopovers in Portimao Portugal, Punta Del Este Uruguay, Cape Town South Africa, Fremantle Australia, Airlie Beach Australia and finalllySubic Bay Philippines where the race was halted due to emerging COVID-19 Pandemic. In March 2022 after two difficult years of coping Pandemic conditions around the world I have finally rejoined this race in the Philippines as it resumes and we aim to sail the 11 Clipper Round The World yachts back to London.
