I rode an electric scooter that I bought for myself when I worked at a tech startup some 20 years ago. I would have scootered past where these signs are posted on Rose Avenue on my daily commute.
My scooter long since bit the dust and was replaced by a mountain bike as my preferred means of travel. Sadly I cannot use my bike as much as I would like for fear that it will get stolen just about anywhere that I would park it.
I am a retired software engineer currently circumnavigating the world by sailing yacht via the Clipper Round The World Race. This race started in September 2019 from London, UK and sailed to stopovers in Portimao Portugal, Punta Del Este Uruguay, Cape Town South Africa, Fremantle Australia, Airlie Beach Australia and finalllySubic Bay Philippines where the race was halted due to emerging COVID-19 Pandemic. In March 2022 after two difficult years of coping Pandemic conditions around the world I have finally rejoined this race in the Philippines as it resumes and we aim to sail the 11 Clipper Round The World yachts back to London.
