I have been thinking about minimalist lifestyle a lot in my journey to retirement so giving up items in my life collection of stuff is ongoing. I had seriously tried surfing (ocean) many years back. Had fun but never got any good at it. In fact I found it quite dangerous for me. Gave that up to pursue endurance mountain biking. Based on my injuries from that endeavor I can’t claim that as any safer but that is a story for another time!
So I sold my Bruce Jones longboard.
Needed some minor repairs but at $200 I believe this guy got a steal.
I am a retired software engineer currently circumnavigating the world by sailing yacht via the Clipper Round The World Race. This race started in September 2019 from London, UK and sailed to stopovers in Portimao Portugal, Punta Del Este Uruguay, Cape Town South Africa, Fremantle Australia, Airlie Beach Australia and finalllySubic Bay Philippines where the race was halted due to emerging COVID-19 Pandemic. In March 2022 after two difficult years of coping Pandemic conditions around the world I have finally rejoined this race in the Philippines as it resumes and we aim to sail the 11 Clipper Round The World yachts back to London.
